GRABAAWR (Great Annual Bicycle Adventure Along the Wisconsin River) will be returning to Richland Center for their Bi-Annual stop over, Friday, June 24, 2016. They will be staying at the Richland Middle School. HELP is needed for unloading and loading luggage, “Red Wagon” team, coffee team, and towel team. Local businesses are highly encouraged to “Roll out the Red Carpet” for our guests. Their seven day tour begins on Saturday, June 18 where they will load their bikes and board motorcoaches to their Tour Start in Eagle River. The tour begins at the headwaters of the Wisconsin River in northern Wisconsin where the route will follow low-traffic roads along the 427-mile length of the river as it winds through the Northwoods, central sand counties, and the driftless area of Wisconsin. They will travel daily for seven days with tour ranges from 55 miles to 70 miles which will meandor through rolling hills and steep climbs.
